As of 10th May, Messi has 28 goals for the season, showing that his career is not slowing down anytime soon.

Ronaldo has been faced with criticism at times and this season was no exception. Though he may have experienced a slow start to the year, he has been consistent throughout and even at 36 years old, he is playing exceptionally well. Despite criticism, Ronaldo is essential for Juventus and he has scored 27 goals this season to put him towards the top of the best goal scorers of 2020-2021.
Erling Haaland: Borussia Dortmund
Some analysts were wary of Haaland’s move to Dortmund in the middle of last season. While he is a talented player without debate, would he be able to be as big of an asset here? Well, all criticism has been overcome as Haaland has returned 25 goals for the season, putting him ahead of many other talented footballers. At just 20 years old, Haaland has shown that he is talented enough to compete against any team and has a bright future ahead of him.

Sure, there are some other players ahead of Kane when it comes to goals scored but Kane has been a standout footballer yet again and deserves some recognition. Kane is the undeniable goal leader in the Premier League where he has returned 21 goals for the season. When he is healthy, he is a constant threat on the pitch and a terror to goalkeepers everywhere.
