This week, Relevo provided an intriguing glimpse into the unique arrangement between Real Madrid’s standout player, Toni Kroos, and sportswear giant Adidas. The disclosure from Relevo highlighted a distinct agreement that sets Kroos apart from his peers among Adidas-sponsored footballers.

Relevo confirmed that Kroos enjoys a contract with Adidas that differs significantly from those of other footballers. This revelation sheds light on the unconventional nature of Kroos’ partnership with the renowned sportswear manufacturer.

The core of this unusual contract lies in Kroos’ steadfast refusal to switch his matchday footwear. Despite the passage of nearly a decade, Kroos continues to grace the pitch in the same edition of Adipure 11 Pro 2 boots, which are no longer in production.

Adidas has repeatedly encouraged Kroos to explore newer collections, hoping to enhance their exposure to the public. However, Kroos remains unwavering in his loyalty to his trusted 11 Pros, despite briefly attempting alternatives in 2018.

In light of Kroos’ unwavering preference for his Adipure 11 Pro 2 boots, Adidas has tailored his contract differently from that of other athletes under their sponsorship. In addition to financial compensations, Kroos enjoys a range of collaborations with Adidas.

A key component of Kroos’ contract is the provision of a yearly supply of his trademark boots. This ensures that Kroos always has access to his preferred footwear, maintaining his comfort and performance on the field.

Relevo revealed that Kroos keeps three pairs of his trademark boots in his locker at Real Madrid’s training ground at all times. One pair is designated for matches, another for training sessions, and a spare serves as an emergency backup.
