Chris Sutton’s Premier League Predictions – Matchday 11 Assessment
As we look at Chris Sutton’s Premier League predictions for Matchday 11 of the 2023-24 season, it’s clear that even the experts can get it wrong. Let’s take a look at what has to be one of Sutton’s worst performances so far:
- Perfect Score Predictions: Chris Sutton accurately predicted absolutely none of the match scores this week. With a weekend full of surprises, perhaps there’s good reason not to be overly harsh here though.
- Correct Result Predictions: Sutton correctly predicted the outcome (win, draw, or loss) for 2 matches this week. He was right to say that Brentford would take the points from West Ham and he was correct in saying Man City would dominate Bournemouth. With the latter result, even Sutton couldn’t predict just how dominant City’s performance would be.
- Wrong Predictions: Sutton came away from matchday 11 with 8 incorrect predations. It has to be said that no one foresaw the chaos that would unfold and lead to Chelsea beating Tottenham and a Man Utd victory was never really on the cards. Certainly, no one could’ve predicted that Sheffield Utd were set to pick up their first win of the season.
Let’s see what next week has in store for Sutton as the action returns.
