Manchester City

Manchester City’s first Premier League win was in 2011-12 under the strategic brilliance of Roberto Mancini. During the last decade, Manchester City has solidified their status as one of the top teams in the Premier League securing the highly sought-after trophy an impressive six times since 2013-14 with Manuel Pellegrini and then five more times with Pep Guardioloa.  The extent of City’s dominance is evident in the significant number of championships they have accumulated, in stark contrast to their nearest competitors, Chelsea and Manchester United, who have only managed to secure two titles each within the same timeframe.

Chelsea

In the last decade, Chelsea Football Club demonstrated its prowess in the Premier League by clinching the coveted trophy twice, in the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons. The first triumph was under the astute management of José Mourinho, while the second was achieved with the tactical acumen of Antonio Conte at the helm. Chelsea’s success during this period showcased the team’s resilience and ability to adapt under different leadership styles. Although they faced stiff competition from rivals Manchester City and Manchester United, Chelsea’s two Premier League victories solidified their standing as a formidable force in English football. While their title count in the last decade may be surpassed by some competitors, the impact of Chelsea’s triumphs and their consistent presence near the top of the table underscore their status as perennial contenders in one of the most competitive football leagues in the world.

Leicester City

Leicester City’s unprecedented triumph in the 2015-16 Premier League season remains one of the most remarkable and fairy-tale-like stories in the history of English football. Under the shrewd management of Claudio Ranieri, the Foxes defied all expectations and overcame astronomical odds to secure the Premier League title in their debut season after returning to the top flight. The team, spearheaded by the prolific goal-scoring exploits of Jamie Vardy and the creative brilliance of Riyad Mahrez, played with a captivating blend of skill, determination, and unity. Leicester’s remarkable run showcased not only the individual talents of their players but also the power of teamwork and collective belief. From being relegation candidates the previous season, Leicester City’s ascent to the pinnacle of English football showcased the magic and unpredictability that makes football a sport cherished by fans worldwide. The 2015-16 season will forever be etched in the memories of football enthusiasts as the year when the underdog triumphed against all odds, and Leicester City etched its name in history as Premier League champions.

Liverpool

Liverpool’s long-awaited Premier League triumph in the 2019-20 season marked the culmination of a journey characterized by passion, resilience, and exceptional teamwork. Under the charismatic management of Jürgen Klopp, the Reds put forth a mesmerizing brand of attacking football, blending defensive solidity with the dynamic trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, and Roberto Firmino leading the charge upfront. The team’s success was not only a testament to the individual brilliance of its players but also to the collective spirit fostered by Klopp. Liverpool’s victory in the 2019-20 season ended a 30-year league title drought, with the team amassing an impressive points total and securing the championship with several games to spare. The triumph was a fitting reward for the unwavering support of the passionate Anfield faithful and a testament to the club’s enduring legacy in English football.
