Yossi Benayoun was an Israeli attacking midfielder renowned for his technical skill, vision, and ability to score crucial goals. He made history by becoming the first player to score hat-tricks in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup for the same club – Liverpool – with those goals coming against Burnley, Beşiktaş, and Havant & Waterlooville, respectively. Benayoun played for Liverpool from 2007 to 2010, during which time he became a fan favorite for his creativity and knack for delivering in big matches, including a memorable winning goal against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu in 2009.
