The Football League Cup is a knockout competition in English football, contested by all clubs in the top four levels of the English football league system. The FA Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men’s domestic English football. It is the oldest football competition in the world, having been first contested in 1871-72 season.
Winning both the Football League Cup and the FA Cup in the same season is a rare achievement, accomplished six (6) times by the following four (4) clubs:
- Arsenal 1992-93
- Manchester City 2018-19, 2025-26
- Liverpool 2000-01, 2021-22
- Chelsea 2006-07
