Liverpool 2-0 Brighton: Own goal and Isak strike settle Anfield contest
Two goals in the first 21 minutes were enough for Liverpool to beat Brighton 2-0 at Anfield, despite the visitors having 64% of the ball and 17 shots.

Liverpool beat Brighton 2-0 at Anfield on Sunday afternoon in Premier League gameweek 8. Both goals came inside the first 21 minutes, and Brighton could not find a way back despite having most of the ball.
Liverpool took the lead in the 17th minute when Brighton's Pascal Groß put the ball into his own net.
Four minutes later it was two. Alexander Isak scored in the 21st minute, with Bradley Barcola credited with the assist.
