Western Football League Champions 1892-93 to 1913-14
The Western League was formed in 1892 as the Bristol & District League, and became the Western League in 1895. In the years before World War I, many teams played in both the Southern and Western Leagues; the Western League was considered as secondary to the Southern League.
Most of the top clubs had joined the Football League in the years leading up to WWI.
