The venue that hosted the football matches at the 1908 Olympic Games was the
White City Stadium in West London. The venue was also the home of Queens Park Rangers for two spells (1931-1933 & 1962-1963) and hosted a match during the 1966 FIFA World Cup Finals (Uruguay 2-1 France). The White City Stadium was demolished in 1985.
