Sergio Agüero Leads the Americas Goalscoring Chart
Sergio Agüero is comfortably the highest-scoring player from the Americas in Premier League history. The Argentine striker scored 184 goals in 275 Premier League appearances for Manchester City between 2011 and 2021.
Agüero’s 184 goals place him sixth in the overall Premier League goalscoring rankings, behind Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney, Mohamed Salah and Andrew Cole. He scored all 184 of his Premier League goals for Manchester City.
Agüero also holds Manchester City’s record for Premier League goals and became the competition’s leading overseas goalscorer during his career. His final Premier League appearance came in May 2021, when he scored twice against Everton at the Etihad Stadium.
Dwight Yorke Is the Highest-Scoring Caribbean Player
Dwight Yorke is second among players from the Americas with 123 Premier League goals. The Trinidad & Tobago striker scored for Aston Villa, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Birmingham City and Sunderland.
Yorke enjoyed his most prolific spell at Manchester United, where he formed part of the treble-winning team during the 1998-99 season. He finished that campaign as the Premier League’s joint top scorer with 18 goals.

Argentina’s Carlos Tevez is third on the Americas list with 84 Premier League goals. Tevez scored for both Manchester clubs, winning the Premier League with Manchester United in 2007-08 and Manchester City in 2011-12.
