Key Threats to England in the Group Stage at the Upcoming World Cup
With the World Cup now just a few weeks away many punters will be looking to put there bets on and you may even look to use a Bet365 bonus code.
There is no doubt many England fans will be looking at the Group with expectations high, which comes as no surprise. With teams such as Tunisia and Panama who are unlikely to cause too many problems (We hope!) but Belgium are going in as strong favourites to top the Group. The World number 3’s
have a vast amount of quality in the squad so who are the key threats England need to look out for?
Eden Hazard
A name that all England fans will know and fear is Chelsea star Eden Hazard who is also set to captain the side. He is coming off another stellar season that included him scoring the winning goal in the recent FA Cup final against Manchester United. He is a sublime talent and a major threat whenever on the ball so the England defenders will certainly need to be man marking him at all times. There are a lot of rumours of a big money move in the summer to the likes of Real Madrid so if this is the case he will be hoping to play a starring role for the side as they look to get to the latter stages of the tournament.
Kevin de Bruyne
Quickly becoming a Manchester City legend, Kevin de Bruyne is certainly now one of the top talents in World football today. He is coming off the back of a stunning season in which he played a catalyst role in City breaking a list of records. This including most goals scoring in a season and them reaching the incredible points total of 100. His assisting and goal scoring ability is always a potent threat and if on form he is likely to cause England and any other team all sorts of problems in Russia. Playing with a huge amount of confidence he will be hopeful his star studded squad can go all the way to success.
Romelu Lukaku
Another name, which is certainly familiar to England fans, will be that of Romelu Lukaka. He has shown through out recent years that he is a major goal scoring talent and he continued to showcase this previously with Everton. He has however been fairly quiet in recent times but this could stem down to the defensive tactics of Mourinho at United not always playing to his strengths. The Belgium is always a handful to any defender so England will need to be careful of this in order to defuse his goal scoring threat. All three are just a few of the dangers ahead for England against one of the strongest outfits going in to the tournament in Belgium who are also going to start as one of the favourites to lift the trophy.
