Fernando Torres Leads the Spanish Premier League Goalscorers
Fernando Torres is the all-time leading Spanish goalscorer in Premier League history with 85 goals.
Torres scored 65 Premier League goals for Liverpool after joining the club from Atlético Madrid in 2007. He later moved to Chelsea in January 2011 and added another 20 Premier League goals.
In total, Torres scored 85 goals in 212 Premier League appearances, making him the highest-scoring Spaniard in the history of the competition. The Premier League also records his 50th goal as coming in just his 72nd appearance.
David Silva and Diego Costa Complete the Top Three
David Silva is second among Spanish Premier League goalscorers with 60 goals.
The Manchester City midfielder spent a decade in the Premier League after joining from Valencia in 2010. Silva won four Premier League titles and finished his Manchester City career with 60 goals and 93 assists in the competition.
Diego Costa ranks third with 53 goals. The striker scored 52 Premier League goals for Chelsea before adding another goal during his later spell with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Juan Mata and Cesc Fàbregas
Juan Mata is fourth with 52 Premier League goals, scored during spells with Chelsea and Manchester United.
Just behind him is Cesc Fàbregas with 50 goals. Fàbregas made 350 Premier League appearances for Arsenal and Chelsea and also holds the record for the most Premier League assists by a Spanish player, with 111.
Fàbregas was also the first Spaniard to reach 300 Premier League appearances and remains one of the competition’s most productive creators.
Ayoze Pérez and Mikel Arteta
Ayoze Pérez ranks sixth among Spanish Premier League goalscorers with 45 goals.
Pérez scored 24 goals for Newcastle United and added 21 during his time with Leicester City, giving him 45 Premier League goals overall. His final Premier League appearance came in the 2022-23 season.
Mikel Arteta is seventh with 41 goals. The former Everton and Arsenal midfielder was a regular goalscoring threat from midfield, particularly from penalties and set pieces.
Pedro, Rodrigo and Marcos Alonso
Pedro is eighth on the Spanish goalscoring list with 29 Premier League goals for Chelsea.
Rodrigo follows with 27 goals, scored during his Premier League career with Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United.
Marcos Alonso is tenth with 26 goals. The left-back became a particularly important goalscoring defender during his time with Chelsea.
Santi Cazorla and Rodri
Santi Cazorla ranks 11th with 25 Premier League goals for Arsenal.
Rodri has now moved onto 23 Premier League goals, putting him 12th among Spanish players. The Manchester City midfielder reached that total during his Premier League career from 2019 onwards.
Rodri’s 23 goals include his memorable long-range strikes as well as important goals during Manchester City’s title-winning campaigns.
Gerard Deulofeu, Michu and Luis García
Gerard Deulofeu has 22 Premier League goals from his spells with Everton and Watford.
Michu and Luis García are next, both with 20 goals.
Michu made an immediate impact after joining Swansea City, scoring 18 Premier League goals during the 2012-13 season. Luis García scored his 20 goals during his time with Liverpool.
Negredo and Llorente Lead the Next Group
Álvaro Negredo and Fernando Llorente have both scored 18 Premier League goals.
Negredo scored for Manchester City and Middlesbrough, while Llorente found the net for Swansea City and Tottenham Hotspur.
