Shakhtar Donetsk are not pleased with the prospect of losing a key player on a free transfer. Chief executive Sergei Palkin has stated that the club will take Tottenham to court if they sign Solomon without paying a transfer fee.

Palkin had contacted the player and his agent, offering him a return to the club and assuring him of a starting position in the Champions League. However, Solomon has expressed his desire to stay in England and pursue a move to Tottenham.

Palkin believes that if Solomon does indeed join Spurs, it would constitute unjust enrichment, as Shakhtar paid a substantial sum for the player. The club intends to file claims for restitution against players or clubs who enrich themselves at Shakhtar’s expense.

Manor Solomon had a successful stint at Shakhtar Donetsk, scoring 22 goals in 106 appearances. However, his time at Fulham was marred by injuries, limiting him to just 24 appearances in all competitions. Despite this setback, Tottenham still sees potential in the young forward and has agreed to sign him on a free transfer.

If the move goes according to plan and all parties involved reach an agreement, Manor Solomon will become a new addition to Tottenham Hotspur’s squad. The club is looking to strengthen their attacking options and believes that Solomon’s pace, skill, and goal-scoring ability will be valuable assets. The forward could potentially make a significant impact in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur has agreed terms with Manor Solomon, and the player is set to join the club on a free transfer pending a medical.

However, Shakhtar Donetsk are unhappy with losing the player without receiving a transfer fee and have threatened legal action against Tottenham. Despite injury setbacks, Solomon’s impressive performances at Shakhtar have caught the attention of Tottenham, and they believe he has the potential to make an impact in the Premier League. The coming days will determine whether the move goes ahead and if Spurs will have a new player in their ranks for the upcoming 2023-24 Premier League season.
