Neymar has not been lucky with injuries. The Brazilian star man has suffered several bad injuries over the years, with some injuries keeping him out of crucial games for his team.

The coaching staff and fans of PSG would have been troubled to see their star player twist his ankle and go down. Neymar was then taken off the pitch in tears on a stretcher during the tough game against Lille.

Neymar also suffered an injury to his ankle while playing for Brazil at the World Cup in Qatar, and over the course of his career he has had troubling ankle injuries.

Can Neymar make it back in time for the Bayern game?

PSG need all their important players to be fit and ready for the Champions League game against Bayern, and Neymar’s injury means the club will lack some much-needed firepower in front.

According to PSG, Neymar has not suffered a serious fracture which would have been devastating news for the team. However, the club’s medical staff and specialists will have to conduct further test to determine how long he’ll need to recover from the injury.

Neymar has missed some big games in his career due to injury, and now it seems this crunch tie against Bayern Munich will be added to that list of missed games.

PSG will keep their fingers crossed that this injury will not keep him out for the remaining games this season.

However, the team can look to its other stars to get the job done against the Germans, and the tough win against Lille will serve as a boost for the teams fighting spirit and belief ahead of the clash.

PSG will also have to continue its domestic league campaign without factoring in Neymar for the coming games. A battle at the top of the table is set to take place against Marseille, and the team will have to secure a team without Neymar.

Neymar has enjoyed a rather decent individual campaign so far, scoring 18 goals and recording 17 assists for PSG across all competitions. His latest injury is a big blow to the player and club’s ambitions.

Already, rumours are flying that Neymar could be sold by the club this summer and it would be interesting to see what becomes of the Brazilian’s future this summer.
