Germany, a three-time champion, proudly hosted Euro 2024, the 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship. It was the country’s first major tournament as host since the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Matches were played across ten German cities, including the capital, Berlin, during the prestigious summer event. The tournament took place from 14th June to 14th July 2024. Over the course of the month, the world’s top players competed in a spectacular display of football at its highest level. The final was held on July 14th at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
