Season Overview:
The 2001/02 Premier League season saw Arsenal secure the title in spectacular fashion, winning the league at Old Trafford against Manchester United and finishing the campaign unbeaten away from home. Arsène Wenger’s side completed the domestic double, also lifting the FA Cup.
Liverpool finished second, ahead of Manchester United, who endured a difficult season following a poor start. Newcastle United secured fourth place and a return to the Champions League, while Leeds United and Chelsea earned UEFA Cup qualification.
