Liverpool, led by the incredible goalscoring form of Mohamed Salah, secured a top-four finish while reaching the Champions League final. Chelsea and Arsenal had disappointing campaigns, with Chelsea finishing fifth and Arsenal ending outside the top five for the first time in over two decades in what was Arsene Wenger’s final season.
At the bottom, Swansea, Stoke, and West Bromwich Albion were relegated. Burnley impressed by finishing seventh and securing a place in the Europa League qualifying rounds.
