The FA Cup 2014-15 is the 134th season of the world's oldest football knockout competition; The Football Association Challenge Cup,
or FA Cup for short. The 2014–15 season's cup marks the first time that 3G (third generation) artificial pitches are allowed in all rounds of the competition
This page lists full details of the competition from the Extra Preliminary Round onwards.
The competition commenced on 16th August 2014 with the Extra Preliminary Round and will conclude on 30th May 2015 with the Final,
to be held at Wembley Stadium. Last season, Arsenal beat Hull City 3-2.
As is the custom, the Top and Second Flight teams (Premier League & Championship) will enter the competition at the Third Round stage, which will be played in the first week of January 2015.
The FA Cup Winners will qualify for the Group Stage of the 2015-16 UEFA Europa League.
