Liverpool secured all three points against West Ham after Allison Becker saved a penalty. Jarrod Bowen could not put the ball past Allison just before the end of the first half.

The Reds continued their resurrection on Wednesday night as they beat West Ham United 1-0 in a Premier League tie. The Reds have come under plenty of pressure this season for their insipid performances. It was a hard-fought win that inches Liverpool closer to the top four.

Liverpool have struggled this season, with several reports suggesting that Klopp was under threat of losing his job. The Anfield side has been battling with injuries this season. They have several players in and out of the treatment room. There are still some players who are yet to kick a ball in anger this term, but Klopp hopes to be able to count on them sometime in the season.

Despite not putting up a spectacular performance, Liverpool was able to grind out a slim win over West Ham, with the main highlight of the game being the penalty save by Allison Becker. The penalty save ensured Liverpool could win the game. The Reds now sit seventh on the log – four points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

The heroics of Allison Becker
Liverpool has struggled for wins this season. Of the ten games played this term, the Reds have managed four wins, with their latest victory being their second back-to-back victory. On Wednesday night, the win almost slipped through their hands as they gave away a penalty that could have tied the game for West Ham.

It took the heroics of Allison to keep Liverpool in the game. The Brazilian goalkeeper guessed right as he saved a penalty by Jarrod Bowen just before half-time. It was the high point of a tense affair for Liverpool as the goalkeeper made vital saves to keep the Reds in the game.

West Ham are having a torrid season as David Moyes struggles to get his side in gear. West Ham lost a share of the spoils as they failed to convert a first-half penalty. Darwin Nunez had put Liverpool in the lead in the 22nd minute with a header, and his goal was enough to give Liverpool all three points.

Liverpool now have three straight wins in all competitions.

A delighted Allison
Allison was in top gear with his spectacular displays that contributed immensely to Liverpool securing all three points. The Brazilian goalkeeper was delighted to have contributed his quota in ensuring that Liverpool continues winning games.

The Brazilian goalkeeper spoke with Amazon Prime Video and discussed his role in the momentum the squad was generating.

Allison assisted Mo Salah in the 1-0 win over Manchester City at the weekend and continued with his heroics by saving a Jarrod Bowen penalty. He said he was happy at saving the penalty because the team works hard every day to perform well.

Allison refused to comment much about the technique used in making the penalty save. He said footballers study one another. The strikers study the goalkeeper, and the goalkeepers study the strikers or the penalty takers.

Allison also gave a hint about the ambitions of the club this season. In not too many words, he said Liverpool had not given up hope of winning the Premier League.
