According to latest reports, Roma have just sealed the signing of former Liverpool Midfielder, Georginio Wihnaldum, on loan. The Dutchman who signed for PSG last season, made a total of 37 appearances across all competitions, while clutching his first Ligue 1 title in the club.
Further reports also reveal that there is a buy clause in the loan deal following the 2022/2023 season.
After the news of his loan transfer became public knowledge, Wijnaldum took to social media to express his excitement over joining the Italian side.
“It’s a really good feeling to be a Roma player. Everyone I have spoken to has given me great feedback about the club and its fans.
“The club made it clear just how much they wanted me in the efforts they made to complete the deal, which always gives a player a lot of confidence and belief. The reception from the supporters, on social media and elsewhere, has also been fantastic.
