In what came as a rather controversial news over the weekend, Paul Pogba’s older brother disclosed that he would reveal ‘explosive’ information about the former Manchester United star.

In a bizarre three minute clip uploaded to Twitter and TikTok on Saturday night, Mathias Pogba claimed he would share inside information regarding both the Juventus star as well as his international , teammate and PSG star, Kylian Mbappe.

It is unclear why the 32-year-old former Wrexham, Crewe and Crawley Town striker is offering to ‘reveal truths’ about his brother and what the information will actually entail. Though Mathias also hinted it could lead to the public and the ex-United star’s team-mates turning against him.

The story – Pogba’s brother shares bizzare statement
In the statement posted on social media, Mathias Pogba posted: “The French, English, Italian and Spanish public, in other words the whole world, as well as my brother’s fans, and even more so the French team and Juventus, my brother’s team-mates and his sponsors deserve to know certain things.

“In order to make an informed decision if he deserves the admiration, respect and love of the public. If he deserves his place in the French team and the honor of playing in the World Cup.

“If he deserves to be a starter at Juventus. If he is a trustworthy person, that any player deserves to have at his side.”

Alongside the post, Mathias also added several hashtags in the caption of his posts, and an eye-catching one included the name of his brother’s lawyer and agent, Rafaela Pimenta.

He also made sure to name drop France golden boy Mbappe, claiming that he had some “important things” to say about the 23-year-old.

Mathias added: “I will tell you very important things about him and there will be elements and many testimonies to confirm my words.”

Pogba’s camp make statement

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba’s own camp also gave a response to the viral social media post from Mathias Pogba just hours after it surfaced online.

It read: “Mathias Pogba’s recent statements on social media are unfortunately not a surprise. They come on top of threats and organized gang extortion attempts against Paul Pogba.”

Several sources now claim Pogba has for long continued to tackle blackmail from an organized gang and has even been financially exploited a number of times. Police are now investigating the matter and will take it up to the maximum.

Paul Pogba re-joined Juventus on a free transfer this summer after seeing out the length of his contract with Manchester United. He is yet to make an appearance for the Bianconeri this term and might now be forced to undergo an extended stay on the sidelines due to the latest conotroversy.
