Marcus Rashford is excited at the methods of new manager Erik Ten Hag. After his first week at work, Ten Hag seems to have struck a chord with the England international, who described his methods as detailed.

There is a general belief at Manchester United that the arrival of Erik Ten Hag is the beginning of a new era. The Dutch manager is coming with verve and hopes to revive the club. Ten Hag should return the club to its old glory, but he has to do it with the same tools that have previously proved ineffectual.

Ten Hag has to defend against high-profile strike forces like Manchester City, who just bought Erling Haaland with players like Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka. He is supposed to do things that previous managers failed to do.

Ten Hag has fewer worries as the one referred to as a virus by Jose Mourinho has left the club, and the club are trying to bring in reinforcements to bolster the squad. Marcus Rashford is excited to start afresh with Ten Hag, knowing he has blown hot and cold in the past three seasons.

Excitement at Carrington

The feeling around Carrington these days is that Manchester United are on to something good. An excited Marcus Rashford is not afraid to throw buzzwords around and has described the boys as having a feeling of excitement. He says the buzz is back at the training ground with positivity amongst the squad heading into the preseason.

The United forward described the methods employed by Ten Hag as detailed and about enjoying the game. In an interview with the club’s official website, Rashford said the boys are trying to understand his principles. He also hopes they can put what they’ve done in training into their first games.

He described the training as positive, with everyone looking forward to preseason. Reacting to a question about looking to the future, Rashford said the team has started on the right foot.

Manchester United will go on tour as part of their preseason activities, and Rashford said the players are already getting into the mood for the season. He opined the training they’ve gotten so far is getting them a step sharper and fitter as they push towards being ready for the season.

A poor season and a brighter future?

The excitement at the arrival of Erik Ten Hag to Manchester United is yet to abate. Marcus Rashford is one of the players who believes in the methods of the Dutchman. The England international believes that Ten Hag could help bring his fading career back on track.

Manchester United finished sixth last season for a place in the Europa League. As the club struggles to bring in reinforcements, they operate under the shadow of losing Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese striker wants Champions League football and is keen to get it elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Rashford has praised the arrival of Ten Hag and his methods. He claims he has brought a different vibe to the team, and the results will manifest when the season begins. Rashford is the player that once praised the efforts of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and asked the fans to trust the process before the Norwegian received his marching orders.

How would Ten Hag get the best out of the players who failed to perform over the years? The question is would he even get better results than previous managers? Only time will tell.
